It's an hour flight to Burbank from Oakland, and Universal City is about a 25 minute drive from the airport. Ironically I went to City Walk just last spring to see a Janet Jackson show and didn't even bother to go into the studios. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've been inside USH.

So if you're flying instead of driving you could probably get to the park from the bay area in about the same amount of time I can coming from the Central Coast. Less if I hit traffic.

The theme park commercials are literally being shown in some slots back to back. So last night while watching America's Got Talent my roommate and I decided to start planning a weekend trip to LA and check out Transformers. Should be fun.
