The last DVD I got I think included bits and pieces from the in resort room video clips.. with that obnoxious fake stacey replacement.. the spazzed-out brunette? and the guy.. (yeah there's a guy that does it too). Anyway, they are so bad I can never recall their name because whenever I see them on the resort TV I immediately change it. I'd rather watch Disney holiday clips with "disney channel all stars" singing a bad rendition of Circle of Life from the Lion King over and over.. and over. (and over..) I wish Tony Baxter or someone.. Joe Rhode even better (he built a lot of AK) and seems so much more enthusiastic about the parks.. imagineers tend to be better at that.. =) I mean the "real people" set ups would be ok if they weren't.. you know, set ups. I don't think we'll be getting the video this year. It sounds like it got incredibly WORSE (if that is possible) than the one we got previously.

I have actually gotten to watch the latest, without falling asleep, and it was "ok" but still sucked big time compared to what they could've done....

The critique that I had was not that I lost sleep over it but that I thought if you are trying to entice people to visit the parks, putting them to sleep first will probably not help much.

It is true that those "free" videos are simply one hour long advertisement for WDW, BUT, if people who love WDW are falling asleep watching it, that's just bad. Like I said earlier, I actually stayed awake during it a few times after my initial viewing and it was "ok" at best. I didn't get the warm and fuzzy's that I normally get while watching the videos. That's all. Another thing I don't like is that they show footage of a PRISTINE peter pans flight and many others in PRISTINE condition, clearly old footage.....literally to the point where my oldest daughter was like "what ride was THAT???"

Heaven??) And yes, some of the footage they show is very old. That little girl they always show riding Big Thunder Mountain has probably graduated college by now.
