For a minute there, it almost sounded like 182 was saying that government-provided and government-paid-for health care was a good thing.

Heck, even Romney's company finances their takeovers and buyouts instead of paying cash, which forces a lot of them into liquidation because they can't afford the debt payments Bain dumped on them. The GOP has no space to talk about making sure things are paid for.

You are a hypocrite. <<Help fpr veterans has and is a very bipartisan issue. Can you be honest with yourself for just this issue and not make it about Dems and Reps. Please ??????>> If these issues became partisan it was because of the REPUBLICANS!! Republicans used to work together with Democrats on issues such as helping veterans. But since Obama took office, nope. Sorry. No can do. Not gonna happen. We can't go there. Because it will help the Dems and Obama politically. So the vets will just have to suck it up and take one for the team while the GOP blocks legislation and obstructs Congressional work while pointing their bony white old man fingers at the Dems and blaming them for a do-nothing Congress. Which folks like you, Donny, via your Fox News adoration, believe with every fiber of your being. "The measure, which would have potentially created jobs for up to 20,000 veterans, was blocked on a procedural point by Republicans, who argued that the bill was unpaid for." You're being totally disingenuous with that quote, Donny. TRY FINISHING THE REST OF THE PARAGRAPH! Here's how the entire paragraph appears in the article: "The measure, which would have potentially created jobs for up to 20,000 veterans, was blocked on a procedural point by Republicans, who argued that the bill was unpaid for. Senator Patty Murray, a Washington Democrat and the bill’s main sponsor, said the bill would have covered the costs in part with fees on Medicare providers and suppliers who are delinquent on their tax bills." The bill would be paid for, genius, through penalties levied against delinquent Medicare providers. The Republicans blocked passage of the bill and whined that it wouldn't be paid for, when in reality, the funds were found to pay for most of the bill. The Republicans blocked this bill, as usual, because of partisan politics. And yet there you are, a veteran, who refuses to accept the cold hard reality that YOUR PARTY is the sole reason why Congress hasn't been able to get anything done for almost four years! Take your sanctimonious attitude and half lies about the GOP, Donny, and shove them you-know-where. Any veteran who votes these clowns back in office is an IDIOT.

Donny... did you get any special consideration in applying for any of your government jobs because you're a veteran? Did you get any of your government jobs through a veteran's job program? I remember reading about states receiving Federal funds for hiring veterans to work in state government positions, like IT departments, through some program the Obama administration put in place in 2009. One of those states was Florida. Given that Donny has almost always worked for the government in some capacity most of his adult life, it does make me wonder if he's getting these jobs via veterans programs. He probably is, given how difficult it is for Joe Schmoe off the street to get one, because of the good pay and great benefits.
