As far as I know V&As is the only 5 star in central Florida. I always found V&As fun, but with the "maids and Butlers", the overall look of the place, and its location in TGF it always felt themed Disney restaurant. Perfect for kids. I know, while my kids would behave at either place, THEY would enjoy V&As more than Ca Grill. But they would enjoy the fireworks view@Ca Grill. I wonder if I complain enough I can get them to ban kids at all the premier eating locations. I don't want to hear screaming kids at Ca Grill anymore than V&As. Or Artist Pointe. For that matter, I don't want to hear screaming kids ruining my MK visit either.

Some parents don't deserve kids. I've never seen anything like that, the kid wasn't doing anything to fight back. I don't even know if I can call that a meltdown, I bet it happens worse in their own home. But there are times when it's the parent. I am glad a security guard was there, I have no idea what I could have done.

Not obnoxious, but he appeared to have alzheimers or some other disease. He was very loud, and management went to speak to the table. They left. That is very rare, I don't remember any others.

However, once they got their food the youngster was more interested in that than making a spectacle of himself. Usually, if the parents are making the proper attempt at controlling the child, I am satisfied. Too often the child is being a child (ie: normal) while the parent does nothing to control him/her. This does bother me. But once again - as much as I could and did take my kids anyplace when they were young, and they acted appropriately, I have absolutely no problem with V&A (or other places) having a no child policy - even at WDW. There is nothing wrong with such since there are no end of choices for those who choose to constantly be with their children.

Not to totally derail this thread, but using your list I'd have to go with - KFC 5 stars Burger King 4 stars Jack n' the Box 3 stars DQ 2 stars McDonalds 1 star But then we're forgetting about Wendy's, Carl's Jr. & my favorite - In & Out!

Okay - I have never been to Jack n the Box, so here is my list: In and Out - 5+++++++ stars. Great service, great presentation, great merchandise, great food. I wish we had them here. (less than 3 more months until I go!) Chik Fi La - 4, It's chicken, it's good, one of my favorites. Love the criss-cross fries! Costco - 3, almost a 4, I like their pizza but mostly I get their berry sundaes. KFC - 2, the Colonel has nothing on Chik Fi La. McD's - 1. I enjoy the burgers occasionally, but In-and-Out it ISN'T. Cool - now I understand the star rating. Thank you MPierce (and Dan for copying, I would have missed it entirely!)

Not everyones' kids are practically perfect, like the kids belonging to some posters here. I, personally, would not be happy to see any young kids in a classy restaurant that I booked and paid top dollar for (sure, they MIGHT be good...but then again most kids aren't).
