Right now it just feel like a carnival (a classy carnival, but still a carnival). I don't think images of people missing teeth and fingers are what the Imagineers were trying to conjour up with this are.

My gripe with the boardwalk games is that they were/are routine, pedestrian, boring, undisneyfied, etc. In fact, as designed and implemented, they were even worse than those that were installed at a competitor park, Islands of Adventure. I don't have a problem with having games at Paradise Pier, just make them the best, most creative, highly detailed and unique games on the planet. WDI can do this if they are tasked with that requirement. The games don't have to be exact duplications of the same schlock I see rolling into the county fair just to fit into the theme. They should be fantastic and amazing experiences befitting of a DISNEY version of those types of attractions.

Anyone can get any prize, they just play long enough. This is yet one more no-brainer.

I'd rather not waste my time playing or even just staring at carnival games that aren't any more unique than the ones at the county fair. But I'll b happy to embrace them if WDI makes them so unique and awesome that just one look at them makes you say "whoa, that's cool", and you immediately want to go play them.

"the midway games were pretty much designed to be easily won" They are not easy to win. They don't all do what I say. The children's game does, and as I said, it's a standard practice. All of them should be this way. The ones where there is a competition should be the winner gets the big prize, the losers get a consolation prize. That would make it look a lot more disneyesque and fun for everyone.
