The only time wine taste like vinegar is when it gets old and moldy and then it turns to vinegar pretty much! That is why winemakers say to carefully store your bottles in a climate controlled area laying down, never put red wine in the fridge its too cold, room temp is better. White can go in the fridge, but pay attention to when it was vented on the bottled!! NEVER store your wine bottles with cork downwards, as the wine sits in the cork(if it’s a real cork) and the bacteria will mix with air and cause mold in the cork—not a good thing
