Don't get me wrong, Star Tours is an okay attraction, but the movie is not a Disney property. Indiana Jones...great attraction, but not a Disney movie. Splash Mountain has Disney written all over it, but that's about the only attraction (of the majors) that has remained faithful to the Disney brand. In closing, LOVE the pictures! What I found myself wondering while looking at those pics is just how much the guests must have been mesmerized by the experience of visiting Disneyland back then. Today we take it all for granted because we grew up with it. Some of us grew up close enough to the park to experience it fairly regularly. But even those who didn't have seen it in images, on TV, etc. For many of those guests who were seeing it back then, it was all so new (or relatively new by comparison to how long WE'VE been exposed to it). Must have been pretty awe-inspiring.
