When my daughter was born my wife went without drugs. By the time she was shouting "I really need some help!" It was far enough along that they couldn't give her anything. All she had was me, and she dug her fingers into my arm until it bled. It was the least that I could do. Then things went from bad to worse as everyone in the room seemed to freak-out and they slapped an oxygen mask on my wife. I didn't know what it meant, but I figured it wasn't good. I found out later that Rachel had her cord wrapped around her neck. I'm glad I didn't know that at the time. All's well that end's well. She is now 24 years old and is the most perfect daughter on earth. Well, except for DVCdad's I'm sure. ;-) I am so happy everything turned out fine. I was a little worried there when you were gone for so long.
