Sorry, Charlie (er...I mean Joe Young direct descendant of Mormon Legend Brigham Young who appears to be admirably supporting gay rights along with the rest of his family).

    and I'm even from Utah where I should "know better" but I do. Hence why I'm voting against it.

    The thing thats crazy is that its not just against the same sex couples- its against EVERYONE who for whatever reason has a "bond" that isnt marriage (ie dependant adult child, siblings, friends) in case of medical emergencies, dependent coverage etc. It has ripples that can and will hurt many many more people than just same sex couples...

    I wonder if his temple recommend was in jeopardy? After all, if the Mormon church is lobbying for Prop 8, it must be due to religious reasons, and for someone to go against God by supporting a No on 8 vote, well that raises questions, doesn't it?
