Because until Palin went wobbly, both sides were completely satisfied she would be professional and fair. Plus, she's been a moderator before. But since Palin's inexperience has been shown to the world now, the GOP is grasping at whatever thin reed they can to distract. And it works on some people.

I think she'll do a good job. I'm not worried about bias during the debate.

But the media is talking about Gwen Ifill instead of the issues.

LOL! If by "media" you mean Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, and the rest of the right wing Palin apologists/gaffe response team, then yes, the "media" is talking about Gwen Ifill rather than the issues.

Because she was somebody that the Republicans and the Democrats could agree on.

By media you obviously mean Rush Limbaugh and Fox News. The rest of the media didn't breathe a word of it this morning. It was all financial crisis and that millionaire dude's airplane.

More proof that you're living in a bubble, dude.

Ugh, all this spin just makes me so sick. It seems to me that the Republicans are just tossing darts at the board & seeing if any of them stick.

    >>Yes..it is indeed true…no one has asked me...and no one will...and it is none of my business...but having said, that, I would like to see Gwen Ifill as the next moderator of Meet The Press....

McCain and Palin supporters have every right to question the moderator's partiality. They should. So should the obamites.

But it could have been avoided if they would have picked a different moderator.

Obama & supporters would be saying the same things if the moderator had a vested interest in McCain winning the election.

To make it easier for Palin to win, no matter what. They aren't dumb.

Oh, good. At least you recognize this attempted cover fire for what it is. I was getting worried for a moment there, Josh!
