I agree that it probably won't be great - at least not as good as being literally in the park on front row. However, I'd rather be up there with a glass of wine and snacks watching it than down on the ground surrounded by a sea of people.

JB- The best place for up to the minute information on Fantasmic is the reservation line itself, so if anyone is interested here it is: 714-781-4400 The current Fantasmic offering is as follows per Disney: A premium viewing experience along the rivers of america with dessert and unlimited drinks. The current "dessert" offering is a box that comes with water crackers, 3 cheeses, grapes, a cookie filled with rasberry jam, a cheescake bite, a chocolate cake bite, 2 chocolate truffles, a lemon tart, and a fantasmic sugar spoon. For what we paid, I felt it was a good deal. The desserts more than filled us up. I took my box back to the hotel and snacked on it for several days, and the drinks were plentiful. I myself had a cocoa, a coke, and a bottle of water, then I was given 2 bottles of water and a coke to go. Our greeter/seater/server david was awesome. We've done the riverside seating 11 times now and prior to that 5 times on the balcony when the balcony was availabe I really hope Disney follows through and offers a "premium viewing experience" for WOC.

It's odd that they built the platform so far to the west. Wouldn't it have made more sense to build it on the corner closest to the show? Maybe the TLM building will obstruct the show from there?
