Water is free whether you get it in a paper cup that you throw away or whether you REUSE a recyclable plastic bottle............ As for White Water Snacks IT IS WONDERFUL and it is a GREAT DEAL!!! The portions are HUGE (a kids meal is usually too much for me!) and the food is always made to order-hot and fresh- and the food is yummy (better than a lot of stuff you find in the park). WW Snacks is also off the beaten path tucked away in the GCH...I love how cozy it is!

I wonder who paid for THIS study? If you are going to worry about something I would be more worried about the plastic that your food is wrapped in, the plastic buckets that your popcorn comes in, the chemicals that is used in your food when it is processed. I will be bringing in my own water bottle to be refilled.

As for water bottles, we pick some up from the grocery store, stick a few in the tiny hotel freezer and bring in cold bottles of water we can recycle as they get empty. Still cheaper than DL water. The best place to refill the bottles is the first aid station at the top of Main Street. It is always cold. Thank you, Grammy, for letting me know the plastic water bottles causing cancer is a hoax. Whew! We do this all the time.

We have envelopes for each thing we want to do, ie meals, souveniers, build a bear ect. We sit down and figure aprox how much each experience will cost and then we start saving our $$$. so for valentines/easter the kids will decide if little presents for these holidays would be better spent as $$$ towards an awsome dineyland vacation in june? two of my daughters will have graduations before we go....they can have a graduation present or put it towards things they want in Disneyland. It is really amazing how frugal a 11 and 13 year old can become when given the choice. We find ways to save a little everyday and the kids are amazing at pointing this out to us (my latte in the morning, 3.00, if i make coffee at home that is almost $60 a month towards Disneyland) We also buy disney clothing at Wall mart for the trip. I agree about the sweatshirts in an earlier post....the quality is not so good, one wash and the sleeves are too short... My daughter did get at least 10-15 compliments on an Alice in Wonderland "t" shirt last year though...everyone wanted to know where to get it.(wallmart) Autograph books we buy for souveniers in the park, but we get the disney character pens at wall mart. Because we fly from out of state we dont like to take alot with us, and shopping when we get there is not an option because we only go once a year so our time in the park is special. a dollar here and there not spent at home really adds up to a wonderful disney vacation!!!! we also have alot of fun with it.....saving money??? well we dont spend what we havnt budgeted for...so no impulse buying.

Also, like everyone else suggested bring your own bottles of water.

Also I do the koolaid singles and crystal lite packets to add to my water. Better than soda.
