'But when does he watch the Holiday Special?' My Great-Aunt still has this taped onto BETA.. I think there's going to be a family feud over who gets to keep it when anything happens to her

Now. Don't wait. It's going to just keep getting more and more expensive and more and more difficult to get it done. (1) The shelf life of any VHS or Beta tape is close to expiration. (2) The shelf life of any Betamax player expired years ago, and the total population of working ones is fading faster than the population of WWII veterans. Do not assume that your aunt's machine that works today won't conk out on you next Tuesday. Nobody's going to be able to fix it for you. (3) There are only one or two source copies of that sucker circulating out there, and Lucas wants to burn all of them. Odds are pretty good that a Beta tape will be better quality than those copies, since I'm pretty sure they're all sourced from VHS. Beta was the better format. (4) When you get it done, please send me a copy. PS: DON'T YOU DARE SKIP THE COMMERCIAL BREAKS if they're present. It's one of the dumbest things you can possibly do when saving any TV broadcast. ;-)

You can either just get the toothbrush or sit through the root canal and THEN have the toothbrush. Suit yourself. I thought it was interesting to see again after over 30 years. I thought the art and animation style were very reminiscent of "Heavy Metal". I remembered it as being the best part of the show although, granted, that isn't saying much. I think I'd rather sit through that root canal than have to sit through the SW Holiday (not so) Special in its entirety. At least at the dentist I'd be anesthetized.
