I've enjoyed the movies (except for Half-Blood Prince) but never bothered reading any after the first two. While creative I didn't think they were that well written. Once they got so darned long I just didn't think they were worth the time. Of course Rosie and my daughter would HUGELY disagree with me. They pretty much read all of them... even Deathly Hallows, in one sitting. I think the Narnia series has a depth to it that HP will never have.

Though I guess that applies to most books, the Narnia series is a proven "classic" and goes beyond the traditional good vs. evil theme and is a bit more Biblical, in my opinion. The Narnia chronicles have withstood the test of time for a solid 60-70 years, but I don't doubt Harry Potter will be considered a literary classic in that amount of time.

I've never read anything that kept me glued in my seat like they did. I mean, I looked forward to a new Potter book more than Christmas or my birthday. But honestly, I think they're greatest worth will be a great tool to getting kids into reading. They're easy reads(even if they are long, the prose is not difficult), and are, for lack of a better word, magical to a kid.

One possibility is rerouting the entrance road from World Drive to open up more space on that end of the park, but something tells me that they have no plans to expand the park much larger than it already is.

It would also add to the roster of attractions, adding something that's pretty different than anything else in the park now. It could be a thrill ride or a slow moving boat ride, and either way it would help with the 'half day' feeling the park has. There are a ton of movies they could use, but if they want to go for a realistic route, they could make a scenic voyage down the LA River... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wi...iver.jpg

The trick would be securing the guest on the ride mechanism.
