I don't think that is "the answer". But a small piece of the puzzle. I am not sure if you guys are aware of this but there have been Sheriff's Deputies guarding our schools for years. I really have no problem guarding our valuables. I wish that we were not at this point, but isn't that what our police forces are for? I am NOT in favor of arming teachers, principles, school administrators. They aren't trained for that. Let our teaching professionals teach and the security professionals secure. We also need to ban assault weapons and ultra capacity magazines, fully fund our mental healthcare system, and have more diligent background checks. And has anyone noticed that a drug screening is NOT currently part of the background checks. Given that it is plainly obvious that our schools are a target, we need to guard them.
