Everything OK, I hope! I had a very scary illness in my family last year that hospitalized a sibling for over a week and almost killed him. It was very scary. And they never figured out what it was beyond 'a virus' ... something similar, but much, much, much less serious happened to me about 18 years ago, only it wound up staying with me for almost three months. So, I know how powerless you can feel when the docs are all shaking their heads and 'ruling things out' instead of finding out what's wrong and how to treat it! <<I must say though that for some reason I took great comfort in being able to come to laughing place each day and watch the conversations. And I'll be spending it with friends (some that I haven't seen in years!) and family. That should make up for whatever ways Disney has dumbed down its product since my last trip. I am happy to be going, as I always am. But WDW's parks don't wow me like they once did and like Disney's other resorts still do. So ... look for a likely rip job on Space Mountain, the lack of LoW, the price points of food and the amount of ECVs and double-wide strollers when I get back! ~Live the Spirit of the Season~ ............ They know that millions of people will be coming from across the pond to Orlando to see the boy wizard's new land up the road at Universal. So they simply plan on advertising their accomadations and their easy access to Universal as their big 2010 plan. Forgetting to mention that if they utilize the free shuttle to the WDW Resort they will be basically stranded there with no way up to Universal.

Off of disappointing sales for the Halloween Parties, no doubt in part to Disney starting them before the last holiday weekend OF SUMMER! I have been three times. Once about 12 years ago. That was the only time I ever paid. Twice earlier this decade on comps (yeah, some folks at Disney do like me!) I actually thought about going this year a bit because I am tired of missing out on the entertainment at Christmas, but I've had three CM pals (including one who is truly a Disney can do no wrong type) tell me to save my $$$ and that was off the discounted price ($39, I think). So, I'll be staying away this week. Thankfully, I'm sure we'll have 963,421 pics and video online anyway. ~Celebrate the Spirit of the Season!~
