Being there myself and talking with others that have also been this year the theme park #'s ain't that bad so far this year imo. Now other parts of the company may/will be down and drag the final #'s down, but right now I think the parks are holding their own in this economy compared to how some want you to believe.

Is Pirates an E attraction? >> Well ... back when Disney ranked attractions, PoC was an 'E' ... Buzz didn't exist, but the prior attraction was an airline commercial for free (albeit a very nice one) based on the same ride system/length as Adventures Thru Inner Space at DL ... and that was a 'C' ... today, I'd still rank them like that. Ultimately, there are folks who may enjoy sitting on a bench in Town Square to be the highlight of their day, but it sure doesn't make that bench an E-Ticket ... Someone's highlight may be watching their children giggle and cavort at the McPoohland Playground or the one they have in Toontown. It doesn't make them E-Tix. Someone else may love the TTA, but hate PoC, BTMRR and Splash Mountain ... Do you see where I am going with this? Attractions aren't categorized by Disney anymore except when they spend a lot and want to toss out the 'E' label like with EE or Soarin etc ... so the rest is debatable and left to the fans to argue about. But most 'fans' can understand why the Mad Tea Party is a 'B' and why ToT or KS or Splash Mountain are 'E's <<We have a lot more fun...together...on Buzz.>> Again, that just proves my point above. But even though you enjoy Buzz more it doesn't make it better anymore than the fact I enjoy sitting on the WDW RR and the TTA a great deal more than riding Space Mountain. ~I'll show you an E-Ticket~

At this point it doesn't matter what he said, At this point if he had merit and power to get investors to listen it would have happened by now.>> Keep telling that to yourself ... you may believe it, but I can guarantee you Bob Iger and the Board and Wall Street don't. The market has been up for most of the week, so that's no gauge at all. And the fundamentals/reasoning of Pali's report are completely on point. ~It's me too!~

My parents took us to 6 flags every year and I thought it was the greatest until I finally visited Disney.

To me, unless they turn it around and return to a quality mindset, it's not a sound investment (although I almost bought Citibank when it hit $1, just for fun lol).

Let's go back a year ... no, wait ... six months ... no, how about three months? When the market rises nine percent in a week, most companies get swept up like a big wave at the beach ... it doesn't mean they aren't struggling to swim. And I never said (nor for that matter did the analyst) say Disney was a 'bad company going nowhere' ... just that the company's near term future was bleak and would be a drag for a lot longer than simply the remainder of 2009. I believe that. More importantly, so do WDC execs. If they didn't then you might actually be hearing of future plans for WDW. ~Itsme ...or is it you?~
