We got to talking and he asked us where we were headed and we said Soarin'. He walked us over to Soarin' and got us right on with a FP and actually went on the ride with us. He told us that one of the things he does with the kids is carry a supply of plastic golf balls with a Mickey on them. When they get to the part of the ride where the golfer tees off, he would tell the kids to try and catch the ball, at which time he would also reach out (with ball in hand) and try himself. Imagine the excitement of the kids when he shouts out "I caught it!!!" and hands it over to them. Another time, he told us that he "almost" caught the ball and had the child look around for it, after placing it in their seat. The kids love it. You can tell that this CM really loves his job. He also told us the rumor that some people think that the golfer is Michael Eisner. When we got off, he gave us a pass to get on any other attraction we wanted to go on. The CM at SSE were astonished when we chose to use it there, saying that there were better choices. We told her we had been on everything at WDW a million times and SSE was still new to us after the refurbishment. It was a great day for us and we'll always remember that CM who made it just that much more enjoyable.
