    I am a soothesayer!

I haven't seen it yet. I'll go by there tomorrow and try to get a picture.

BTW, meet @ the MK flagpole on Sunday @ 2 if you're not working. :) There's a thread in the Meets section about it. :)

Labuda -- Thanks for the headsup on this.

I am scheduled to work that day and time, but I don't know where yet. Maybe I can still make it. I'll try.

Could it have killed them to add a '35 years' somewhere in there???

The arch over the eastside Osceola Parkway entrance seems to be completely done. The Walt Disney World red lighted letters, plus a lighted castle and clouds on top of the arch, plus the "Where Dreams Come True" sign under the arch. (Where it used to say "Happiest Celebration on Earth")

The "Where Dreams Come True" sign letters are also lit up from within.

    Looks great!

And I saw trucks and cranes out on World Drive late tonight. They're working on the main World Drive entrance sign as I write this.

It looks really nice. I actually like the castle in the clouds a lot. Its a very nice little addition imo. The banner on the bottom is about what I expected. A little big for the rest of the arch, but it works. At least the blue color of the banner now works given the blue in the castle and clouds above it.

It would be nice if the differnt parks could use the same general idea for the logo, but each with its own version of the castle in it. And then for the coroporate things use the generic one. I know it's wishful thinking, but the sign does seem to be a step in the right direction.

Same situation about the Happiest Celebration, where no other park took part in except WDW, since DLR was busy with their own "Family Reunion" theme of the same thing.

Anyways.. here is my archway photo from Epcot Center Dr. This evening, only the white "dreams come true" letters were lit. Everything else was dark.

Do I really need another overt sign to tell me I am at Disney? I almost feel like it takes away from seeing the real Cinderella Castle, because they've already shown me this ersatz one.

I guess as a temporary piece in conjunction with the new Year Of A Million Dreams promotion, it's okay, but is it temporary? I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Speaking of that horrible makeover of the castle, maybe it's a 'good' thing that management forgot it was WDW's and MK's 35th anniversary. They might have brought that monstrosity back!
