No. But the upside is, nobody can post forty eight jpegs per post as their sigs, along with countdown clocks to their eighteenth Disney park visit this quarter or put in stupid pictures of plush dogs riding in monorail cars. Something else to go in "Ideas For Spirit's Mental Illness Thread" thread? LP is not perfect but the look is clean and uncluttered and contributes a lot to a more mature, reasonable and thought out level of discussion, rather than the brain farts of the thirteen year old girls I see elsewhere complete with the BBS equivalent of glitter and stickers peppered over their posts.

Showing pics of attractions and infrastructure in disrepair will gain attention because there simply isn't any justification for it. You also are presenting abject and absolute facts, not opinions. You can even show pics of things working the right way vs. how they look now. Things like that simply speak for themselves. Hell, you can even show areas that once were maintained (thinking horticulture) and now are left to go back to nature. Or places that once were vibrant (say WoL or Diamond Horseshoe etc) and are now dead. Look how powerful those pics of River Country rotting in the FLA sun are. Good luck ... ~GFC~

I am sure many people don't notice things missing/not working because they have no idea what it should be like and will be amazed how much better things were if everything worked as it had in the past.

If we aren't able to find someone sooner I will start going back towards the end of August when the Seasonal Passes are unblacked out to start provided photo updates every 2-3 weeks. I'll also be taking videos on the Flip cam when necessary. Once we get that going, the Articles section will start showcasing specific attractions with before and after pictures, though we will continue to run editorial pieces every once in awhile too. Also, the Wicked Witch's mouth wasn't moving, totally ruining the scene. Unfortunately, non-functioning animatronics can't be captured with photos, so could I suggest that your members also take videos in addition to pictures? MK, on the other hand, was in pretty good shape! CoP was the only thing that stuck out as needing a lot of work. Why can't they keep the dude's neck from flapping out of his shirt collar?! It's creepy. Anyway, next time I'm down there I'll be sure to take lots of pix/vids and submit them for your site! The ride needs to go down so they can fully implement the digital controllers on the damn things. But of course that refurb has been coming for like 6 years and counting.

Sure I can take photos/videos of things that are broken and obviously not working. But effects that have deteriorate but are still partially operational...unless it's blatently obvious, I think I'll end up missing some things. I guess I can refer to some of Martin's tribute videos and whatnot?
