I am afraid I didn't get to DL in 1967 ... took me until 1968. LOL!

Blue Bayou was my favorite experience in my 1968 and 1969 experiences.

I just don't remember the restaurant. I just know POTC blew me completely away. I was totally amazed.

Half the day could be spent driving from Disney property to an off property restaurant as opposed to just walking across the street from Disneyland. We've done both and already know there's a big difference between the two. We think Disney in Florida knows this, too, and they use it to their advantage.

It blew me away too since we only got half a ride in WDW.

Definitely. It is by no means easy tp pack up, get to your car drive off property to eat, and then return. It's ok if you are a regular, but for someone that only goes to WDW occasionally, it is just to much of your vacation time to give up.

It was almost 30 years between riding DL's POTC, and WDW's POTC. I still knew when I got off the ride at WDW that they had been short changed.

From top to bottom, on quality, taste, service AND price, Hong Kong Disneyland and the Tokyo Disney Resort absolutely DESTROY the American parks.

Out of those three parks, DisneySea has the most sensational food and I'm talking all the way down to the cheap snacks (which are both creative and scrumptious!). Hong Kong comes close though, I'd give both those parks the edge over Epcot.
