How was the the champagne for 25? I told fam about that on the ride to in-laws and Rachel asked about that? I explained it's like when Mom has a coleur sombrero sometimes and she understood. I am NOT against drinking as Diane drinks whenever but I quit as I was a bad drunk. DVC--Are you up for a deal too if Braves win, as they USUALLY do? With your 6th it might be a good vaca for you?

How about you????????? Brad came out to the range this morning with me after I was there for 15 minutes as he wasn't up to church so Diane and Rachel went to church alone. Brad seems fine, but I don't care one bit if I die or get sick but the wife or especially the kids I freak out with NO poise. I used to be ready to call 911 when Rachel was a baby and got the hiccups. Not to be sexist here, but it SEEMS as though women are so much better than us fumbly men with kids' sicknesses. At least me? YOU????????? or does hubby show more ability in this area than me? You can cut in on my post anytime You made my day Mary Ann.

HE HE. Typical women noticing what someone is wearing. Our Easter was good thank you. I did not go off my eating which I was very proud of. My trainer would have a fit if I did. I watched everyone else eat all the goodies. I just salivated. I handle the sickness better than my husband. I helped raise my niece so I had some experience with sickness so when our son Michael came along, I pretty much had everything under control. It seems harder to me when he is hurting inside than when he is sick. At least when he is sick I can do something about it. Michael is our only child and will forever be our only child. If you were to ask him he does not mind it one bit. Of course not because yes he is spoiled and does not have to share his belongings with anyone. Well, I am glad that all is well for you and your family. Try not to eat to much chocolate or you will have to work out for 6 hours tomorrow. LOL It's always a pleasure, Mary Ann

You have better will power than me as I just ate 4 more 1.5 oz. bunnies Hey I don't want to be like the women on the Titanic who skipped their dessert on 3/14/12 looking to drop some weight Night night as Brad is waiting up in bed for me to watch his "Big Present" King Kong the movie in bed with me as it's my turn to snuggle with him tonight. You hug your little boy Michael as I'm sure you will. I'll read this in morning but where are you from again? I can't keep up with it all as you probably told me? joe

But leaving my family will be extremely hard for me. If I can convince my parents to go than we are a packing. Yes, we are very blessed to have Michael as well as you and Diane with Brad and Rachel. A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Brad. Well, I hope you enjoyed your snuggle time with Brad and the movie. King Kong was good but I had to run out when the big insects came along. Have a great night, Mary Ann

I would LOVE to see your part of the country. We are off to a very difficult start but we'll be okay. The question is NOT are WE up to it, the questions is ARE YOU up to it? I would arrive with 6 kids in tow.

You are very diplomatic, I respect that greatly.< I am potentially going to test my patience greatly-- I have applied for a position on our local school board ( we just had a member resign due to health issues).... we have 28,000 students in our district and I just spent a great deal of time the last 6 months working to get a $125M referendum passed for a new additional high school. Also fought through emotional boundary changes .... I have a good feeling about getting this opening, and if I do it will add about 15 - 20 hours per week to my current workload...if I can balance this I will have known I made it to a kindler ,gentler place in life...we'll see

WOW, you gotta' believe in something to spend that kind of time on it for sure.< Don;t think I haven;t had a lot of sleepless nights over this...but someone has to do it. We live in a community of over 150,000, one of the most well off in the Midwest and we havehad more emotion over the $125M for the new high school, an boundary changes for the 22 elementary schools and 8 middle schools etc...yet when it came time to put up, the areas that screamed the loudest were strangely silent. It is a thankless ( and unpaid) position..lots of public scrutiny as well as from the press here.... The thing that helped me was the fact that it is an appointment to replace someone whose 4 year term expires next April. So I have less than a year to determine if this is something I would want to do longer term and run for office. I think 25 + years of management experience in many settings prepared me to be able to deal with this, have thick skin, and just do what's right -- if appointed ( I am 1 of only 4 candidates) - we'll see if I have bit off more than I can chew. Understand that my typical work week now is about 50 - 55 hours.
