Would he have been the right player to deliver that line?>> Interesting comparison, oh wise one. Although in fairness to Lewis, I don't believe he was tried. He was implicated as an accessory or at the scene. But Disney doing a commercial campaign with those spots. It's not the same as a contest. If say the MVP of the World Series has a sordid off the field life, Disney can simply pick someone else from the team. I believe they make arrangments with a few players from each team in advance just in case.

NON of the international parks have anything remotely connected with the Dreams promotion whatsoever. No "dreams" banners, merchadise, ads, etc etc... NOTHING. This is a strictly local campaign just like the Happiest Celebration was strictly to benefit WDW and no other park/resort.

I know that the 50th celebration was promoted as a worldwide event and this was reflected at least to some extent in all of the parks, but I don't remember seeing anything that lead me to believe that the Dreams promotion was worldwide.

The push, themed "When dreams come true," connects all of the company's parks, from its signature Disneyland and Disneyworld resorts in the U.S. to attractions in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. The ads, created by Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett in Chicago, independent mcgarrybowen in New York and Disney's in-house creative team, will employ directors Tarsem, Leslie Dektor and Annie Leibovitz, who will shoot both a celebrity-based print campaign and a filmed spot.<<

Or at DLP passing a "Wishes" show as something related to Happiest celebration at all.. and HKDL? Too busy to even be bothered by it.. There was NO merchandise of "Happiest Celebration" references at any of the international parks!! HECK! Not even DL made a reference to the Happiest Celebration... Instead, they had the Happiest Homecoming on Earth... As far as I am concerned, the HCOE was strictly a WDW stunt.

But that is simply NOT happening at the international parks at all as of now. Also, while at WDW yesterday, I noticed now all cash register receipts read "Disney Parks: where dreams come true" on them, and not the customary WDW logo. How much more generic can they promote the parks??? A pitty.

Right now I would say a good 15% of tourists to day at WDW are from the UK. You can see them all over town, shopping at our local markets and Super Targets!!
