If someone is getting in a whole hour earlier (or staying three hours later) when they're not at an EMH hotel, I really could care less. As long as they paid to get into the park in the first place, I can't say I'm all that fussed about it.

But a 500ml bottle of coke is $4.50 in the parks. we do have some nice souvenir cocktail glasses however, but sadly they have reduced the quality so the gold leaf comes off within a year and they break easily by 18 months old.

WDW prices will be like the Oriental rug store going out of business sale. It goes on forever giving you 50 t0 70% reductions on highly inflated prices.

Besides, it's not like there's a cottage industry of people borrowing old room keys or anything! ;-) If Disney makes $5 on an ice cream because a guest that is staying at the local Holiday Inn weasels their way into EMH, I just see nothing but an upside for the Mouse. I've never been to a packed EMH. I've never even been to one that's crowded!

Of course, I'm old enough to remember when nowhere in the USA gave them either. First time, I ever experienced 'free refills' on Coke was at Orlando area McDonald's (had to go to the counter, but it was up on the menu boards) circa 1977.

If they keep doing it, with the economy the way it is soon NO ONE will be able to afford a visit to the parks while in general I agree- yet on my last trip ( I was there when the prices increased) - there was not 1 single 2 bedroom DVC suite available in all of timeshareland ( that one is for Spirit) - -- I was expecting lower crowds this trip however that certainly was not the case- fairly crowded my entire trip
