I don't like the new logo. I wish they kept the old one. Not because I'm a left coaster, but more because I just like the old tradtional castle. Some things I like updated and modernized, other things I don't. In this case, I would have rather they left it alone. JMO.

I suppose that it all boils down to nostalgia. The same reason you have DCA bashers lamenting the possible closure of Magic Mountain. Go figure.

There's much more to see and do at WDW. For me DLR is a one or two day thing, while WDW is at least three or four.

To me it seemed like a combination of the 2. I'll admit I favor DL over MK(I also agree with the previous assessment of WDW vs DLR), but I wasn't upset over the "replacement". Like it was mentioned in the other thread, it looks too much like a commercial. That's what angered me more.

This has nothing to do with the parks (though I do prefer WDW), but that SB is my favorite movie of all time and I've always loved that it's that castle which is the universal Disney logo.

But then in the other thread about this I saw it's not actually Cindy's castle but "a" castle that has resemblances of both, so I can take that, lol. ;-)

    XD That made me laugh.

Anyway, I noticed the change, shruged and figured that they made the change because the new castle, whether it is Cindy's or a combination of the two, was bigger. Bigger is better right?

I haven't ever been to WDW so I can't really compare the two parks, but I don't think it's about those specific parks anyway. As someone stated before, hong kong, has the sleeping beauty castle. And, Tokyo has the Cindy castle... If you look at all the parks it's about even in which they built. So it's really not shocking that they would use a Cindy castle. I think that if people are really shocked and think that it's some sort of diss on the SB castle, or that there is some sort of rivalry going on they are just being silly and a little ethnocentric.

    My two cents.
