This sounds like a Gary Buchanan/Charlie Stovall junkenese special ... they love their free food 'on the job'.

And, frankly, knowing many of their press folks, Lou would just be too high maintainence for most of the rest.

Wondering if he also did a spin on the Petty experience track or parasailed over Bay Lake as 'research'.

And I bet he'll be one of the first people to try out one of those Princess rooms!

That was some Spirited humor there ... although the way those pins were handed out, it does seem like they multiply like Tribbles.

Well, last night's was my first (and only a portion) but that's how it felt.

I really felt bad for the CPer he cornered in the Main Street Cinema Shop ... she was put on the spot and basically committed a few offenses that could result in termination because of his 'GOT YA!' style and credentials dangling from his neck and entourage in tow ... all while trying to hawk some trivia book of his (ANYONE can get a book published these days) and shill his new APP.

Anyone walking around WDW with a WDW Radio NewsCast polo (in the Disney font) with the equipment and people he does is going to appear to be legit and either working for the company or sanctioned by it ... and how this doesn't open up all sorts of liability issues (beyond the ethical and the confusing of guests) just shows how ignorant so many in TDO are.

Good idea. We could do a chapter on how to build a portable still, and how to hunt squirrels, and rabbits on property to keep from spending money on Disney's overpriced food, and drink options.

Also a helpful tip section like using shopping carts as portable grills, and duct taping your children to your back rather than paying for stroller rental.

Exactly how many yuans do you think you can bring in a week.

Yes both Lee's would make fantastic tour guides.

They would probably be kinder than you too.

Of the millions of people going to Walt Disney World this year exactly how many do you think know about this issue? How many do you think would even care after they were informed of it?

The issue is there are some online whores out there who want to privatize a for-profit company's business ... it is outright theft. And as a shareholder, that IS a concern.

There shouldn't really be clouding of this issue when it is crystal clear.

    Stacks and stacks! :)

They could do the Lee Squared MAGICal WDW Tours.

I dunno ... one Lee is from the UK and they're very uppity ... I can't even finish one of Davewasbaloo's trip reports and he's been a bed buddy of mine!

And I really am not THAT scary (now go back to the dungeon and tell me what Meg threw out in yesterday's trash!)

Are you kidding me? You must think I'm crazy. They didn't just build a police station at Anfield for the fun of it. Being a spectator at an English football match can be more deadly than being a crab fisherman in Alaska.

Sometimes it is in the best interest of a person to remain quiet on some issues. I'm still of the opinion it is TWDC business alone.

Considering how few people in Burbank know (even apparently Legal) or ... knew, I'd say the number is tiny.

But neither that, nor how many would care, are pertinent issues.

It's all about protecting your brand and your IP/copywrights and not having people opening businesses inside your business where the business model is based on stealing out and out ... those issues matter.

Well that's a step up from WDW, since they quit giving me free pins for my $3,000 vacation trip.

    How could it not be?

    Seriously?

Do you somehow feel these folks are just honest business people who found a MAGICal way to 'work'?

That's true ... the first part. And I have some ideas as to why that might be.

But since everything we talk about here (well, what we start out with anyway) is about TWDC's business ... I'd say that point holds less water than one of your Depends!

I am to some extent ... I've always found Star Trek to be much more meaingful than say ... Star Wars. I'm also closer to Star Trek for other reasons.
