I think when comparing the two resorts it's important to make a distinction between the general area around the parks and the parks themselves. Most folks think that DL far outweighs the MK for Disney magic. But I'd agree that as a vacation destination, WDW is much more suited for longer stays than its older brother in Anaheim. I could see visiting DL and storming the parks for maybe 3 or 4 days, and then I'd be done. But I could easily stay 2 weeks in Florida and not run out of new stuff to do.
