On our first trip it was actually the coldest Florida winter on record or something - the entire resort sold out of cold weather gear because no one came prepared. I was wearing long-sleeved tops, long pants, jackets, scarves, gloves, and even cute Minnie Mouse earmuffs! Not really what I expected for my first Florida trip ... So, my point, after all this rambling - yeah, I think the weather's definitely better in SoCal if you don't like heat and humidity (which I don't), but it's not like every WDW trip will be ruined by torrential downpours and / or horrible heat and humidity!

Luckily we had all our cold weather gear from Boston (the beginning of the week was great, 70-80 for the first 3-4 days and the last 3 were chilly). It's weird to look back at our Epcot pics and see everyone walking around in heavy coats. Just seems to out of place lol. Pictures like that are common at TDL, so you don't think twice, but seeing Florida like that is just strange.
