My mother's parents lived in Loveland and then Boulder pretty munch the entire time I was growing up. Spent a lot of time in the Rockies.

What is your favorite canyon in the Rockies?

I always enjoyed Clear Creek because of all the tunnels, but thought Boulder Canyon was prettier. Always thought Big Thompson Canyon was over-rated. North and South St. Vrain Canyons were just OK for me.

Yup... been over that many times (and always fed the chipmunks). Not quite the spectacular view from the top that you get at Loveland Pass in my opinion.

It depends what part you're in. It definitely isn't brown in the Rockies.
