The car has some of it's own stylings, but uses the VW elongated Passat Chassis, and the engine and transmission are from the Audi A6. It is a bargain really as the equivelent Passat is $16,000 more, and the equivelent A6 (with a new 2.7 upgraded engine) is $20,000 more. The back seat space has as much as an S class Mercedes (which runs about $38,000 more. Skoda used to be a joke car in the UK 20 years ago, but they have come a long way. In fact this year they were voted the top car manufacturer by a Driver Poll here in the UK. Love it. Especially as you guys can see, I live in it!
