And I'm glad Tink2002 clarified who she was talking about when she said "We Go Together" because I automatically assumed she meant the song from Grease! LOL. Hey... Now that I think about it that version would be great! LOL

for a last group dance, my family always does I will survive by gloria gaynor, with the bride touring the room with the dj's mic, it started a couple years back--its one of my cousins favorite songs, and when it came on at her wedding she got so excited, she stole the dj's microphone and ran around the room singing, so a tradition was born : )

But if this song was written back then, I would have used it. It's sentimental but also celebratory, with a beautiful melody and great lyrics. "This Is The Moment" by the Moody Blues:

    This is the moment
    This is the day
    This is the moment
When I know I'm on my way
    Every endeavor
    I have made ever
    Is coming into play
    Is here and now today

    This is the moment
    This is the time
    When the momentum and
    The moment are in rhyme
    Give me this moment
    My precious chance
    I'll gather up my past
And make some sense at last

    This is the moment
    When all I've done
    All of the dreaming
    Scheming and screaming
    Becomes one
    This is the day
    Just see it shine
    When all I've lived for
    Becomes mine

    This is the moment
    This is the hour
    When I can open up
    Tomorrow like a flower
    And put my hand to
    Everything I planned to
    Fulfil my grand design
    See all my stars align

    This is the moment
    My final test
    Destiny beckoned
    I never reckoned
    Second best
    I won't look down
    I must not fall
    This is the moment
The sweetest moment of them all

    This is the moment
    So damn all the odds
    This day or never
I'll sit forever with the gods
    When I look back
    I will recall
    Moment for moment
    This was the moment
The greatest moment of them all

I asked jayna if we could do our dance to Closer, Nine Inch Nails. I am no longer allowed to make wedding decisions.

LOL been there. I didn't want to spill anything, and I was just too nervous to eat much. I had the caterer make us a basket of leftovers. We had a fun picnic in our hotel room later.

"What a Wonderful World" is a beautiful, slow, sentimental song. Louis Armstrong is very classy.

Then of course there's "The Party's Over"

My friends and family know that I want The Beatles' "In My Life" at any memorial service they might have for me - many years from now (hopefully not until I'm way beyond 64. ;-) But it works as a beautiful wedding song, too. :)

I want a really natural, right of the beach look....it's hard to find a makeup artist who doesn't go way over the top with the eyeshadow. Can't decide what I want to do with my hair either. My dress is strapless so I have no idea what to do.
