Sorry guys, there are some capacity practicalities here. And sitting next to a stranger is not really a huge problem. I will be doing that on the train tomorrow (as will people in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, Paris, Barcelona etc. etc. etc.

The women were embarrassed and didn't want to get in shoulder to shoulder with our SIL but the CM insisted. There was a very short line. Next day a group of adults that was boarding with us evidently told the CM an incorrect number. The CM let the 2 extra guests board with us which overloaded the boat and gave us a soaking like we'd just been on Grizzly. I'm not kidding. There was no huge line in either case. I was wondering if the CM's were new or they were understaffed, it did seem odd.

Speaking of this ^^^^.... Today at the movies, a stranger (man) came up and sat next to my 2 year old son. It wasn't fairly crowded in the theater but by no means was this his only option for a seat. My son who is shy around new people got scared and said "Mommy!" and jumped out of his seat and over on to my lap (I was sitting right next to him). I thought the whole thing was weird and didn't appreciate the guy sitting there. He didn't even say sorry or anything about him scaring my son.
