I am not paid by the hour, for my role, the measure of success is based on outcomes. That's why it's not unusual to work 20 hour days sometimes.

Buty if you have a nice long commute to work, s little snow can make it a lot longer.

In my 12 years in Colorado, I can only recall two occasions when the office closed due to snow. And its not that it was impassable (we do have ample snow plows).

When you are in the public transportation business there are absolutely NO snow days. The worse that it gets the more you are expected to be "on the road". In Vermont it takes one extreme snow storm to cause anything to close. Two feet or more is treated like flurries around here. It is much harder to like the stuff under those circumstances.
