They nailed it on their "Cartoon Wars" episode that mocked Family Guy. Family Guy is just a random cobbling of jokes and gags together that make little or no sense. If that's your kind of humor, then go for it. But I feel like Cartman whenever someone says, "Hey John, you'd LOVE Family Guy - it's just like your kind of humor." Dammit all... As for the Simpsons rip-off, there's a YouTube video that shows several Simpsons' scenes followed by Family Guy scenes. A few you can see might be a coincidence - some ideas are fairly universal, after all. Others, it's very hard to believe weren't ripped off.
