I understand that Disney and Universal are closed and Sea World was supposed to be opened... Not sure why anyone would want to be out there watching Shamu but he is already wet in the water so He's not bothered by all the rain.... I am hearing a fire truck alarm in the distance so there must be so kind of emergency going on in this area... Again... still windy and rainy and looking out the window...I don't see signs of damage anywhere... My neighbors' houses do not seem to be missing shingles or anything.... Hopefully it will become a bit better by mid afternoon.

Wind blew and it rained hard all morning alng until about 1pm, when the rain stopped. By 2:30pm the Sun was already out and the clouds were parting nicely. Right now at 6pm, we are having a mostly sunny afternoon with some windy conditions and cold temperature... like the 60s. Orlando only reported some minor damage, like a bit of flooding and some power lines out, but it's sporadic. My area never lost power. In fact...I went into DTD at 3pm after the sun came out and lo-and-behold, the Village was PACKED! with shoppers. On my way out, I noticed the traffic signs to DAK and MGM showed their parking lots to be "FULL". Hmmm.... Anyways... we MADE IT thru Wilma.
