Well, we are due in at the DLH on Nov 1st so being moved two days just didn't work for me!!! Long story short, we are leaving a day early and over nighting in Anchorage to be able to get to Orange County at the same time as planned. That means my little Pirates of the Caribean sons will have to be in an airplane for Halloween. Oh well, since we will be on our way to DL I'm sure they will make due. I am still going to let them wear their costumes, we'll make the most of it! OK.... Enough of my close call. Next.

I will be the one NOT having the party at my house, that's what I'll be. We did last year and it was fun and all. It was one of my girlfriend's ideas and it really was a great, great party. We had about, I don't know, at least 60 Kindergartners and 2nd graders and parents. It took me daaaayyyssss to clean up. I didn't even really mind that so much but one boy brought a much older (uninvited) cousin who proceeded to harass my son and even ripped the legs of his treasured huge, beastly, icky fake spider. I was peeeeeeved. So, I'm taking a break this year.
