    It's more a picture book with brief captions but I just bought thanks to a few member coupons and discounts a book called 70 Years of DC Comics Covers. From the first appearance of Batman and Superman to their current incarnations today. There's also the Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman. And then there's covers like Strange Adventures(think 60's Sci Fi) And my personal favorite Angel and the Ape, this cover was the issue to the Case of the Missing Go Go Girls.

    Awesome stuff.

    I think she over-relies on adjectives and adjectival sentences, but she does a great job of building lots of emotion around mundane activities, and drawing parallels between characters. It is a very quick read, and halfway through I was unexpectedly moved to tears.

    I'm currently reading The Historian : Elizabeth Kostova. Finding it heavy going compared to alot of the reading I have done for a while but very good.
