    It floors me that pretty much any really great original sci-fi movie I see turns out to be based on something PKD wrote. He was GENIUS.

    Totally agreed about him finishing the series. I think HBO is kind of on his butt to get it done, since they expect the series to be a hit.

    Just started on the 2nd one in the series tonight, A Clash of Kings. On another board I read, several posters have told people who are getting ready for the show or who are just starting to read the book not to get too attached to any one character. I can completely see what they mean. . . already had one of my minor faves killed off in the last one, and I fear for my absolute faves.

    I also just recently re-read the 1st 6 Harry Potters (in English) but I am waiting to start on the last one closer to when the last movie comes out.
