I'd like to hear what he has to say about it as well.

While I found the book enjoyable, I certainly did not have the connection to it that many women do.

Thanks Sarah, I enjoyed it too and I think if I'd read it as a kid it would have given me nightmares! A nice, quick book for holiday reading :) Now I'm on to Tina Fey's "Bossypants".

While there is a romantic triangle between Katniss, Peeta, and Gale, I don't see why guys would not enjoy the series. It's intense due to the nature of the games, and I would think that would have a lot of appeal to male readers.

Yes I had a very nice lazy Sunday a few weeks ago reading it. I'm onto Madam Bovary now....Tina Fey was far more appealing!

Jenni - so far, I've only read the short story about the bridge troll that apparently comes chronologically before the first book. But, as soon as I get through the last 60 or so pages of the Dean Koontz book I'm on, I'll be starting the first book.

Such a good book! It's a story of the little mermaid with the mermaid's story and the princess's story. Not a kids book.
I didn't want to put it down!
