This is a book my friend Sara turned me on to quite a while back that I bought and then didn't get around to until last week. Holy MOLY this is an awesome book! It's a nonfiction telling of the Mormon religion and their polygamistic leanings that go back to the founder, Joseph Smith, who married more than 40 times himself, bullying girls as young as 14 into marriage. Fascinating read, and it's doing wonders for making my already-low opinion of Mormons even LOWER!

I just read Ella Enchanted and it is one of less than a handful of books where I think the movie is better than the book. But I liked that the character was good at languages. Enough with the skinny heroines for me for a while though.

I'm reading it on my Kindle so I don't know what page I'm on, but I've read 16%.
