La Horde du Contrevent By Alain Damasio Boy is it hard to read in French again! And this fantasy book has a lot of invented terms, and changes narrators almost every paragraph. It's coming along though and I think I will enjoy it once I have the time to read more.
I've just read Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull. It's just a novel about the movie, but I've had it for a long time now and so I gave it a try. It's not very good. Now I'm thinking of reading The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. I read it many years ago in school, but I hardly remember it. I guess I will wait until we have returned from the US to start the book.
Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. I'm only about 1/4 through it so far, but it's pretty darned compelling so far. Best science fiction I've read in a long time, despite some minor quibbles about what is/isn't realistic.
Whoa. You changed the font size. What is this magic? I'm between books right now so reading this thread for ideas.
Isn't it great? We can also emphasize words without have to USE ALL CAPS. I am finishing up Kingdom Keepers VII The Insider.
I am reading a bunch of books to get all the reading I can get in before I go back to work on the 28th. H is for Hawk-memoir from a woman raising a goshawk and getting over the death of her father My Life in Middlemarch-memoir from a woman about how Middlemarch has influenced her life. Q is for Quarry. One of the Kinsey Milhone books by Sue Grafton The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
Believe it or not; Goblet of Fire. It has been a number of years so I thought I would go through them again. Good for keeping my mind off of .............................things.
