It seems that the majority of negative comments were about the cheesy jokes in the book. What do you think? I think that Dr. Oz has been on Oprah a few times and was curious about this book.

One of the things that bugged me about YOU: the Owners Manual was that the names of stuff was changed on a lot of medical stuff with a lot of nmeumonic (sp?) devices I just didn't get to the point, that I didn't get the drawings.. The idea of elves runnning my digestion wasn't that hot either.. but I'm sure it appeals to a lot of folks. I've only been back on program (WW) for less than a week and I got all this food in the apartment we had left over from NYE and Christmas so I lost about two pounds my first week, which is better than nothing I guess. I'm using the OZ books as diet tools.. along with my points. (which reminds me we're out of nuts). SeanYoda dvr'd today's OZ show you mentioned so I haven't watched it yet. =) I plan too.. maybe someone asked them about the confusing drawings.. and the brad pitt jokes (I get them but I don't like brad pitt so whatever).

I loooooove Jasper Fforde and this is even better than the first two. Funny thing, I picked it up at a used book store, and as I turned a page last night, a business card fell out from a restaurant in Paris. Very funny when you consider that the characters travel through pneumatic tubes to quickly get to the other side of the earth. Anyway, it amused *me*.
