Really enjoyed "Basic Eight," BTW. Best of Handler's non-Snicket books, IMHO.

I'm not very far into either one. I guess I could give up my lunch time workouts and finish "Bunnies", but my pants are starting to feel tight.

I can't remember much of #6, and I've read it twice.

They really aren't that well written but the 2nd, Darkly Devoted Dexter, is better than the first. I got really tired of how often the writer had to remind us that Dexter is "inhuman". I haven't seen the Showtime series based on these characters. I only read these because my husband checked them out from the library for himself and I needed something to read. A third book called "Dexter in the Dark: A Novel" comes out in September. I'll probably read it eventually.

Another book I just read is "Ask Again Later: A Novel". (What's with the ": A Novel" in book titles?) Anyway, I liked it well enough to check out another book by the author, Jill A. Davis.

My least favorite of the books I have read has to be "The Sunday List of Dreams" by Kris Radish. It sounds like it may be interesting at the beginning but I found it to be just really, really boring and unrealistic.

The very last book I read was "Cranberry Queen" by Kathleen DeMarco. I have both of her novels and like each one.

I'm not a Steven King fan - tried a couple but it seemed like he coudn't figure out how to end them - but this one sounded a little different and I like to listen to something light while I exercise so I don't have to concentrate too hard (just finished "The Lake House" by James Patterson, I see another sequel coming). Lisey is very interesting so far (on tape 4 of 16) - oops, gotta go to the gym so I find out what happens next!).
