There was talk for a while of a movie coming out on the series but I haven't heard anything in a long while. Has anyone else? Supposedly, Sandra Bullock was a prime candidate to play the part of Stephanie Plum. Hope someone has heard something more substantial.

Re: Manga You might want to check out the "Dogby" series, especially the first one. The hero is a tough guy who works as a theme park mascot, and never, ever speaks. Imagine Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris dressed as Pluto.

Tinkeroon, Last year I read in the paper that there was talk of making a Stephanie Plum movie and Reese Witherspoon was in talks to star in it. I was disappointed b/c I don't picture Reese Witherspoon as Stephanie Plum. I went to Janet Evanovich's website to see if anything was mentioned on there. There was no mention of it, but there were pages to vote on who you think should play who in the movie if there ever is one. Sandra Bullock was #1 for Stephanie. Of all of the other actresses listed, I thought Leah Remini (from the King of Queens) was the best 2nd choice. It's fun to see what choices people have come up with. Her site is evanovich.com.
