I loved the series so much that I started re-reading the first book from the series last night ^_^<<

These books are great, aren't they? Did you know that a movie version of "Twilight" will be out in December this year?

Alex...hope you like Kite Runner...I LOVED it and really hated for it to end. Not everyone feels that way though. I started out reading it (not wanting to but told a teacher/customer that I would give it a try) and had a hard time putting it down.

Sara Tonin...let me know what you think of Rhett Butler's People! I've really wanted to read it but am waiting for a used copy to come through the store where I work. My all time favorite book is Gone With The Wind but I hated the sequel so I feel a little trepidation about reading Rhett Butler's People.

Currently I am (still) reading Dragonfly in Amber. It's a great book but I have had so little time to read of late. I grab a few pages a day. Sometimes get in as much as a whole chapter...oooooohh!So it is slow going for me even though I just love the story.

Just picked up "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame." It's one of those classics that I've been meaning to read forever.

I know what you mean...the main character allowed some really awful things to happen that he could have prevented but I think it was all very pivotal to the story. It was really sad to see what jelousy can do to your life.

That's one I have not read yet. I did stick to my guns and read the 'North and South' series which was very long going 3 very long books but very worthwhile.

I seem to be drawn to reading series all the time not sure why but I just get drawn in.

    Here's a thread discussing it:

To summarize: christiemarsh88 and DAR liked it. Ursula, Mrs ElderP and I were less pleased.
