I hope to read again soon. And, I shall start off with The Winds Of War. Great romance scenes, including one of a wedding night that is sooooo touching and beautifully done.

I am sooooooo glad to hear that!

Now...after Winds of War, you simply must read A Town Like Alice.

Best love scene on the planet. Well, it's right up there. Not like I've read enough of them to know, but, you get my drift. It's a G rated book. It's just like seriously romantic, I guess you can say.

Oh, my gosh. Trust me. A Town Like Alice, by Neville Shute. Written in the 50's, I think..........

I can not believe how long it has been since I have found the time to sit down with my book, so I am still reading Gone with the wind, I am loving it, it is not as if I dont want to read it just no time.

So, honey, hang in there. Between the three of us, we'll make sure we read excellent books. It's soooo nice to know you and Tink are out there, feeling the same vibe. Gone With the Wind is just sensational.

So, remember, my dear: these years do go by...hang in there. You are performing the most valuable job in the world, bar none. The books will wait. xoxo

    Altogether now:

    Christy, Catherine Marshall
    Winds of War, Herman Wouk
A Town Like Alice, Neville Shute

Want to be scared? Read The Cobra Event, by Richard Preston. About bioterrorism. Excellent book. You can't put it down when you first start into the book....

What do/did you think of it, Mele? I've read about half of it, and I really enjoyed what I read. I need to sit down and finish it.

I'm glad to hear you like Pillars of the Earth, Tink. It's one of my all-time favorite books. I still need to read the "sequel," World Without End.

Okay, my books. I finished Wicked last weekend (so, so, so different from the stage musical, but I still love it, maybe even more than the musical), and I'm reading the sequel, Son of a Witch. It's really good so far.

Gotta ask all you readers. . . am I the only one who has stacks and stacks of books to read but still goes out and buys more? My book shelves are filled with books to be read, but I love going and finding a new book to read at the store. My mother thinks I'm a bit crazy and that I should finish what I have before going and buying new ones. I can't help it. :) Barnes & Noble is my "happy store" (I already have a book I need to go pick up this weekend, lol, Peter Straub's Ghost Story).
