I will be starting starting it tomorrow. I have been a SK fan since the 70s, but I have avoided the Dark Tower Series for some unknown reason. I think the title of the first one just didn't reall interest me. Not really into westerns, so a book called The Gunslinger just didn't really do it for me. But I have to admit that now that I am 3 books in, I am enjoying the story. I really liked Duma Key. I also really like Lisey's Story. I think Lisey's Story is as close to a love story as King can get. I also just bought Bag of Bones.

I remember enjoying Bag of Bones quite a lot. There was a time there starting with Tommy Knockers for me where SK was getting almost unreadable. But the last 10 years or so most of his stuff has been just as good as his early works.
