I got the book about ten years ago so you might have to search around for it.

Almost done rereading it, and then I'm going to get back to reading Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson.

But since I'm a huge comic fan I'll mention a few things I've read. Now let me just say that nothing Marvel has put recently excited me or gave me that I've gotta read that feeling. Fantastic Four has been pretty good the last two issues. And Spider-Man has also been good, but they still give me that been there done that feeling. I love Captain America by Ed Brubaker but I'll always wait for the trades to come out with that.

But I've been reading a lot of DC.

For 12 weeks DC Comics published a series called Wednesday Comics. It was a throw back to the full color comics you got in your Sunday Paper. There were about 15 stories I think to varying degrees of quality. But it was a lot of fun overall. Give it a read if you can.

Probably my favorite author in any medium right now is Geoff Johns. I've read his take on Green Lantern since he came on board that book. Now he's doing a story called the Blackest Night where the dead rise from the grave and fight the other Lantern Corps. It's a lot of fun. A superhero story crossed with a zombie film.

So that's what I've been reading.

Read it a few years back. Just listened to the audio this week, and was surprised by how much I'd forgotten. Trippy book, and very good.

No, it's not a guide to Hidden Mickeys, and no, it's not by *that* Dave Smith (at least I don't think so). It's an adventure novel, of the Da Vinci Code/National Treasure ilk, with our heroes following clues to Walt Disney's hidden treasure. (I didn't know he had one!)

I love the film that was based on Little Children (the book is great so far), and the second book is quite interesting so far, just a lot of little short histories on the subject.

I'm bummed that she won't be writing any more Fred stories. : ( I also wish she would have continued on with the Alaska books as well.
