Work our way around, take the train back to Main St. to get lunch. Eat on the bench across from ice cream shop. Then get ice cream to share. (ours) Go to Tiki Room after lunch and Small World after that. Have dinner at a restaurant in the park, usually the French Market, and split fried cheesecake for desert. (ours) Spend the day having fun.. do the full circuit of the train at least once, head to Tom Sawyers, for a afternoon break. Take a trip in the Wheel house of the Mark Twain, the caboose of the train and the front car of the monorail. (when available)Go See Assimo...(we love that little robot) Cheshire Cat, and dh Mad Hatter

Then rush over to Splash Mountain. Once we have done the big rides, we can relax and then go on other rides. Shopping – We look in all the shops and buy whatever we like, but I always buy all the new postcards I don’t have. Food - we eat lunch at French Market and have mint juleps and then search the park for icecream and churros carts. Exit – at closing time, we always sit in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and watch the colours change and then slowly head down Main Street absorbing it all. We always stop at Casey Corner for a hot dog at closing time.

One of my favourite traditions!.....take a picture of my son standing with the Indian statue on Main Street. We have 3 pics for comparison now and love to look at the change in detail on the statue and the difference in height my son has on the statue. They grow up too fast! We always save the park passes too... My sons latest tradition is making sure we walk under the orange marquee at Harbour Blvd and if I walk through the passthrough on either side....he'll stand there and wait until I come back to walk under the marquee with him! Is there any better place than Disneyland? I dont think so!!!!

We stay in the park from opening to close most of the time. I'm so excited I leave on Sunday for 8 days. Woohoo

I make sure to wave at the Wicked Queen who peeks throught the curtains above Sno White's Scary Adventures. She alwyas quickly shuts the curtains when she sees me, she's so shy!=) My boys have to go on Matterhorn early on our first day and then one of the last rides before we go home so they can tell the Snowman hi and good bye. Have to get a popcorn bucket each trip. We make sure at least once we get gumbo in a bread bowl in New Orleans Square and then we eat it a tthe Hungry Bear and tear off peices of the bowl for the ducks. Finally, we hit Buzz Lightyears Astro Blaster (new tradition as of last year) and whoever gets the lowest score between my wife and I has to be the one who drives home while the other can nap. I'm usually better at this than her but out of the 5 trips we've started this on I have only won once.
