Sometimes I think that we who visit regularly and "obsess" about all things Disney aren't really the people that Disney makes these decisions for.

I never quit understood the lack of value debate that seems to go around. I think it's a great value. I can vacation here for 1600.00 including food where as it would probably cost me double to spend that in a nearby resort in Maryland. To me, Disney is a great value and a better time.

Everybody has their own perspective but mine is a positive one. Sorry guys!

The only way for me to get there at your price, is to hitchhike and sneak in.

As to the folks talking about cost, there are plenty of ways to have great WDW vacations at a fraction of what most pay. Step 1 is very simple: don't stay on property and eat every meal there.

I have been able to fly down to Disney for a roundtrip for 400.00 but this year it was around 600.00. I did find cheapier rates later on and I should have waited but that's a chance you take. I also book through AAA.

That's always been our Modus Operandi, funnily enough....Despite your well laid plans and posts imploring me to stay onsite. ;-)

Yeah, no....Heh. Our hard earned vacation money can get us somewhere much farther away if we don't do that, and I think that's finally paid off.

For me and my family staying at one of the Disney resorts if a part of the experence that we love to have.
Next trip will be at the Poly.(which is why we only go every other year)

Yes Happy Haunt but I recall CQs mother paid for her hotel and park tickets. Easier to keep costs down that way.

You'll have so much at WDW, it's just exciting.

I'll admit that, but isn't that what most of us do here to get our Pixie Dust high when we can't get to WDW?

Being at WDW live in the flesh stirs many different emotions within me. Reading what other friends here on LP think, and have experienced, and looking at Em's pictures stir those same emotions for me. That's why I post here at LP.

Virtual vacations won't cut it for me.) As angry as I was with Disney on my trip 2 weeks ago, now that the (pixie) dust has settled, I can't wait to go back. LP helps keep that Disney fire burning inside me in between visits.
